Is anyone working with a provider (e.g. KareHero, Lottie, or similar) to deliver an employee-funded carer support/concierge service? I'm looking to understand if there's anything that is entirely employee funded out there?
As more employees balance work with eldercare responsibilities, the question is shifting from "if" employers should provide support to "how" they can do so effectively. Even when eldercare is self-funded, many employees value guidance on navigating the complex landscape of housing, medical, and financial care options. For employer-funded programs, defining what services are covered — or setting a clear allowance — helps ensure both fairness and impact. There probably is not one provider that offer a concierge service of "all eldercare needs".
We have a free care concierge service via one of our insurance companys, L&G ,free for employees and not funded by us. Employees use the service for eldercare but we are lacking in care provision for those caring for others who are not elderly
Hi Michelle. I remember asking about this and the reason provided as to why it was employer funded was because the usage wouldn't be there if it was self funded.
If you are attending the REBA Future Forum next week, it's worth checking if there are providers in the exhibition hall who might know more.
