In thinking about wellbeing provision employers offer their employees, in addition to the typical suite of (wellbeing) benefits PMI, EAP, Gym discount, Headspace...
We are looking at what wellbeing benefits could be offered to ensure the wellbeing of our colleagues in a more holistic way.
E.G. I have come across companies that for example train line managers to spot mental health issues and hence be in a position to understand and help their employees better.
E.G. I have also come across various initiatives take by HR both as training directly to the workforce through internal comms channels / but also through training line managers.
E.G. I have also seen initiatives that are delivered through the Employee Forum Groups.
I was wondering if you would be able to share other types of initiatives you may have come across. It would very much help me and I would very much appreciate your suggestions.

We have an employee-run wellbeing network, a wellbeing App called Thrive that we launched very quickly at the start of lockdown, mental health first aiders. We are also considering now what we can do in the financial wellbeing space
We have developed and now implemented Wellbeing Champions, many of whom are MHFAs too, who will promote and support our wellbeing initiatives and act as contacts within departments to sign post to support.
We are working on their development, both around their own self-care and their being able to identify and support poor self-care in others in addition to their MHFA.
We hope that this will not only be good in itself as an initiative, but will also increase utilisation of our other wellbeing products.
We use employee resource groups in the US, common goal and representation etc. Also a health & fitness portal e.g. Virgin Pulse
Mental Health First Aiders is common nowadays, you could think broader to "Wellbeing Champions" if you would like more holistic. Train them and they could carry on the training to managers etc.
