I'm currently reviewing how we provide our colleagues with free tests and am keen to know what processes are being used across large organisations. Do you use a third party who provides an e-voucher which can be used at certain opticians or do you let colleagues go to the optician of their choice and just claim back the costs via expenses? Do you provide any funding towards glasses solely required for VDU use and, if so, how much? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

We allow employees to use an optician of their choice and will reimburse up to £100 for an eye test. We also reimburse £50 towards the cost of glasses/contact lenses. Both reimbursements are made through payroll via our benefits platform.
