We are thinking about adding Matching Shares to our Partnership Shares / Share Incentive Plan, potentially something like a match of 1:8. I’m interested in how much this might extend the current take-up of Partnership Shares, which isn't as high as we'd like. I’d be very interested in hearing the experience of anyone who has moved from unmatched to matched (in particular a similar level of match, but any experience around this which you can share is gratefully received). We match in the UK the first £150 / month for matching shares in general.
Shares as part of Incentives operate differently are purely on a performance / bonus basis.
Separately, we do distribute shares to future or current key talent on a retention basis, where there is a vesting period.
