Hi all, we are getting feedback from some of our homeworkers that they are feeling isolated and would want to use public workspaces near to them. We closed a london office and had to move them to homeoworkers.
Do companies offer allowances or reimbursements for work space usage? If so, how does this work and what rough costs are incured?
Thanks
Hi Daniel,
I used to be in a fully remote role (the company was 100% virtual with no physical offices). The company used to encourage 'hangouts' which would encourage colleagues to meet up. Although this was for social purposes, some employees would work the day in a co-working space and claim it back.
You could consider reimbursement of co-working office spaces or perhaps partner up with a WeWork or Regus to see what they offer? If there's enough demand you could subsidize a subscription
