Hi, could you please share if you cover the setup costs of electric vehicle charging station at employee’s home ? Do you cover full installation cost or perhaps provide a contribution towards an installation? The employees eligible for either car or car allowance. Thanks

We do not have company cars in UK although planning to launch an EV salary sacrifice scheme that will include contribution towards a home set up as part of the deal. In Finland where we do have some individuals with company cars we do contribute towards the cost of the home charging as we worked out it was cheaper for the company if people had EV cars so it was an incentive. So scheme still worked out cheaper for the company.
Hi Joanna. If it's someone entitled to a car/car allowance as part of a 'perk' scheme then we wouldn't cover any costs. We do however cover the full costs for those in a Job Need role. Hope that helps
